Workshop „Marie Sclodowska Curie Actions“ Call round 2019 with special focus on Individual Fellowships
The Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) are a main part in the „Excellent Science“ scheme of the European funding mechanism „Horizon 2020“. This sub-programme follows a bottom-up approach and mainly is focussed on the support of young researchers and the exchange and mobility of staff within Europe.
Recently there are two calls open for submission:

- Individual Fellowships: deadline September 11th, 2019

- Co-funding of regional, national and international programmes: Deadline September 26th, 2019
The calls for "Innovative Training networks“ and "RISE - Research and Innovation Staff Exchange“ will be published soon.
Especially the Individual Fellowships offer a great opportunity either to hire new post-doctoral researchers form all over the world to perform a research project for a maximum duration of 2 years (for Global Fellowships and Career Restart Fellowships up to 3 years) but also for post-doctoral researchers from Innsbruck to spend such a project period in another country. The scheme particularly also supports the return and (re)integration of European researchers from outside Europe and those who have previously worked here, as well as researchers displaced by conflict outside the EU.
Together with the Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck (LFUI) we are organizing a workshop about all different MSCAs. For this purpose we could invite Dr. Lil Reif from the FFG (hosting the National Contact Point for MSCA) to present these actions and possibilities in detail.
We cordially invite you to join us for this unique opportunity to discuss your projects and the possibilities to get them funded under this scheme.
Time: Friday, June 14th, 2019, 13:00-14:30
Venue: CCB - Innrain 80/82 / L.01.220

Next "Project Day at MUI“ - May 28th, 2019

On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 13:30 pm to 16:30 pm, this consultation day on "EU Projects - Submission and Settlement" will take place on the premises of the Research Services and Innovation, Schöpfstr. 45.
Representatives of the Finance Department, the Legal Service Center, the KKS and the Research Services and Innovation will be present.
Time slots of 30 minutes are offered to discuss specific questions about this topic.
Registration is possible on 21.05.2018 (with the desired time and a rough description of the topic to be discussed) at (first come - first serve).
