Exchange students (Medicine or Molecular Medicine) planning to attend the Medical University of Innsbruck under the ERASMUS Programme need to submit the following documents:

  1. A completed Application for Admission form Medicine/Application for Admission form Molecular Medicine
  2. A completed Erasmus Certificate from the Medical University of Innsbruck, which must be signed by the Erasmus Coordinator of the applicant's home university
  3. Proof of immunization in English or in German: Only the document provided by the University and the hospital is accepted.
  4. The applicant's curriculum vitae
  5. A Learning Agreement with the academic plans for the time that will be spent at the Medical University of Innsbruck, signed by the Departmental and/or Institutional Coordinator of the applicant´s home university
  6. Proof of German language level B1 for non native speakers (English B2 for Molecular Medicine)

Original documents for the 20/21 winter semester should be sent either by email or to the address below. Deadline for receipt: 29th of May 2020.

The deadline for the 2021 spring semester is the 27th of November 2020.


Please note that an application for practical training can only be accepted when places at the hospital are available. So an early application is convenient. The application period for 2020/21 starts on the 1st of October 2019 and ends on the 30th of March 2020.

Practical training in Innsbruck (KPJ) always starts on the 1st working day of a month and last the whole month.
