Equality and promotion of women

Medical University of Innsbruck is committed to the equality of genders and to creating positive conditions to promote women’s careers. In compliance with the principle of gender mainstreaming, equality is reflected in HR policies, research, teaching and in the distribution of resources. Appropriate bodies and offices have been established in accordance with legal requirements and in order to strengthen the position of women and ensure that their potential and competence can be put to greater use for the benefit of the University.
