Incoming Teaching Staff

The Erasmus Programme provides opportunities for teaching staff to spend a short period of time teaching in another higher education institution that holds an Erasmus Charter. The visiting teacher’s contribution must form an integral part of the host university’s degree programme.

If you are interested in an Erasmus teaching staff exchange with Innsbruck Medical University you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Identify the department with which you would like to arrange an exchange
    (see https://www.i-med.ac.at/universitaet/einrichtungen.html).
  2. Contact the relevant office to arrange details of the exchange, including the timing and duration.
  3. Find out from the International Relations Office at your home university which documents will be required (e.g. teaching plan, etc.). Please note that a valid Erasmus agreement must exist between the applicant's home institution and the host institution (signed by both institutions) before an exchange can take place.
  4. Contact the International Relations Office at Innsbruck Medical University (Ms. Monika Schlager) regarding teaching plan, confirmation, and any other documents that might be required.
