Knowledge Transfer Centre West

 

The Knowledge Transfer Centre West was established as a regional knowledge transfer centre within the framework of the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy’s programme "Knowledge Transfer Centres and IPR Utilisation". The aim is to sustainably intensify and professionalise knowledge and technology transfer through actions and measures of those involved. The aim is to make the most the potential for utilisation and to deepen and expand the amount of cooperation with both businesses and society as a whole. The program includes the following projects: Information Technologies, Biomedical Science, Physical Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Arts Development and Development, and Arts and Awareness & Accompanying Measures. Details about the projects can be found here. The MUI is represented in all projects, though the focus of their involvement lies with Biomedical Science.

wings4innovation was established as a topical knowledge transfer centre as part of the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy’s initiative "Knowledge Transfer Centres and IPR Utilisation". The aim is to create a Translational Research Center | To create TRC in the field of life sciences and commercialise groundbreaking basic research. wings4innovation is an initiative of 17 Austrian Research Institurions.
