Career position according to § 99 (5) Universities Act

The successful applicant will initiate an employment relationship with the Medical University of Innsbruck. After having completed a successful evaluation, she/he will be offered a qualification agreement, after 18 months at the latest. Following the fulfillment of this qualification agreement, based on a positive evaluation, the employment relationship will be transferred into a tenured contract as an associate professor.
Details can be found in the Austrian University Law (§ 99 (5) UG) as well as the Betriebsvereinbarung über Inhalt und Modalitäten von Qualifizierungsvereinbarungen gemäß § 27 Abs. 8 Kollektivvertrag für die Arbeitnehmer/innen der Universitäten (Uni-KV).

Additional requirements in case of a applying for position involving medical patient care:
- Specialization degree
- Proof of fulfilling the criteria for entry into the Austrian Medical Chamber´s list of licensed MDs in Austria ⇒ Weblink to Ärztekammer für Tirol
- Proof of German language skills with a minimal requirement of the B2 level according to the European reference frame
