Diversity and Sex/Gender in Health: Global and European perspectives
– Focus Global Women’s Health
In this course students learn about basic concepts of sex, gender and further diversity aspects in health, global women’s health issues, sexual and reproductive health and rights, main actors in global health, global health governance, advocacy for women’s health on the national and European level, migration and health, gender equality and health workforce, women in leadership in academic medicine and global health, sex/gender aspects in planetary and one health and in war zones. Participants will have the opportunity to meet students from different European countries and thus improve their language and intercultural skills.

renowned international experts from the Medical University Innsbruck (Austria), the University of Malta (Malta), Charité Berlin (Germany) and Coimbra University (Portugal) as well as from Women in Global Health Chapters
