Prof Brandl Prize
The Prof Brandl Prize is awarded every two years for work from the Medical University of Innsbruck.
The prize is intended as recognition for particularly innovative, future-oriented achievements..
The topic should be in the field of biotechnology, genetic engineering, enzyme technology or cell culture technology, but may also belong to the natural sciences or technical sciences and must involve improvements aimed at human well-being, environmentally friendly extraction of active substances, energy and raw materials, ensuring food supplies for humans and animals, or solving our environmental problems.
Applications are open to members (§ 94 UG) and former members of the Medical University of Innsbruck whose submitted work/patent has an affiliation with the Medical University of Innsbruck and who have not received this award in the last five calendar years.
