How are positions announced?

Job advertisements from the Medical University of Innsbruck are published in the newsletter and advertised via our career page or print media and online portals. The application period for advertised positions is usually three weeks.

How can I apply?

Please send your completed application form along with any relevant documents (applicants are encouraged to use optional application form) digitally to bewerbung@i-med.ac.at.

In any case, your application must make reference to a specific MEDI number and reach us within the specified application period. Please note that applications that do not make reference to a specific job advertisement (MEDI number) or that do not arrive within the specified application period can unfortunately not be considered.

Which documents are necessary for my application?

Unless otherwise stated in the respective advertisement, please send us your application along with a cover letter, a curriculum vitae in tabular form and copies of all relevant employment history and training certificates.

All of your application documents will of course be treated confidentially.

How does the application process work?

All applications received within the application period are collected in the Human Resources Department and then, after the application deadline has expired, forwarded to the organizational unit that posted the original position. This organization then carries out further aspects of the application process on a decentralized basis. The entire application process takes place with the close involvment of the department for equal opportunities. Please note that due to statutory deadlines, the application process can take some time.

Will travel and/or accomodation costs incurred during the application process be reimbursed?

Unfortunately, the Medical University of Innsbruck cannot cover any costs that arise as part of the application and selection process. We thank you for your understanding on this matter.

Will my data be saved?

We process your personal data only in so far as it is necessary for the purpose and context of the application process and in accordance with legal requirements. You can find specific details about the processing of your personal data in the data protection declaration of the Medical University of Innsbruck.

Where can I get further information?

The staff of the Human Resources Department will be happy to provide you with general information concerning the application process.

If you have any questions regarding the specific content of the job advertisement, please contact the relevant organizational unit.

Please have the relevant box number / MEDI number ready for reference purposes.

We look forward to receiving your completed application!
