Loss or theft of student ID

In the event of loss or theft of your student card, you must apply in person for a duplicate student ID during the office hours of the Department of Teaching and Academic Affairs.

To do so, you need the following documents:

In the event of loss: Loss report (Original): In order to have a notification of loss issued, please contact a Municipal District Office, taking your photo ID with you!

In the event of theft: Theft report (Original): To have a theft report issued, you must contact a police station, taking a photo ID with you!

The loss or theft report must explicitly state that the student ID lost or stolen was from the Innsbruck Medical University (not a student ID from the University of Innsbruck).

If a representative does this for you, we require an authorization.
