Junior Faculty
The Medical University of Innsbruck actively promotes young scientists. In a supportive environment, it helps dedicated researchers develop innovative ideas, network, and make a lasting contribution to society and the future through excellent research. The Junior Faculty of the Medical University of Innsbruck comprises researchers in the early to mid-stages of their careers—university assistants (postdocs), private lecturers, assistant professors, and associate professors are members of the Junior Faculty.
The Junior Faculty offers various events in different formats as well as various advisory, training and further education opportunities for young scientists. Central to this is ongoing development as well as internal and external networking.
Junior Faculty Meetings
Every two months, the research community at the Medical University of Innsbruck gets together to welcome new colleagues in tenure track positions, network, and develop ideas for joint research projects. All scientific staff are cordially invited to be part of this exchange.
