VidCast – creating screen recordings or video messages
VidCast is a tool that lets you record and share your screen (optionally with audio and webcam). This makes it easy to create, for example, explainer videos for courses/lectures, methods, or software—essentially anything that needs explaining—and share them via link, faster and more easily than writing long texts.
To use VidCast, you have two options:
- Directly via Webex: Open the Webex app and launch VidCast from the menu on the left.
- Via the VidCast website: Go to the official VidCast website, sign in with your Webex login using your MUI email address and your Q number, and start recording directly in the browser.
