The biobank Innsbruck offers the following services:

• Project development and project coordination
• Provision of samples and data
• Planning and realization of prospective study cohorts
• Sample and data pre-processing and clearing
• Integration of pre-existing collections into Biobank Innsbruck
• Storage of samples (24/7 temperature controlled and recorded for quality traceability)
• Supporting ethics applications
• Contact to and networking with other biobanks

Sample types:

• Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) Tissue
• Snap Frozen Tissue
• Biological Liquids (Blood, Urine, Saliva, Cerebrospinal fluid...)
• Others (Cells, Stool...)
• Samples preferably are not transferred outside the university. Instead we favour on-site analysis.
