New User  Registration

All scientists planning to use the equipment of the core facility need to register an account in PPMS, first. 

You need to open PPMS, which is the administrative platform to request a user training or to book any of the microcopes.  Next, you need to click "Account Creation Request", accept the usage conditions, login with your qNumber plus password and enter your data into the form; no private phone number is requested or needed, just enter the extension within the MUI (lab, office, secretary).

External users (including LFUI colleagues) need to request a qNumber first: the procedure to do so is also linked in PPMS. Both internal and external accounts will be confirmed by the facility staff and you may thereafter "request a training" on any of the microscopes offered in PPMS.
